Meetings: 2nd Tuesday, 7:30 pm at Kokopelli's: 6001 W. Madison St., West Allis

Our May meeting was well attended and discussion was lively, thanks to all that came out and participated. I will not be running for re-election in our 1A election for Regional Representative on September 11th 2012. Anyone that is interested can call or email me if they have any questions about what it takes to run the region.

We had a 1A / 1F STR meeting last month and everything is going well with our instructors. We had a few newer instructors (Jim, Grant and Lyle) and a snowbird (Uncle Larry) start teaching for the summer again. Thanks to everyone that volunteers for this awesome program to save lives. It is very rewarding to teach this program to students and if you think you might be interested in helping out and observe a class to see if "Share the Road" would be a good fit for you, contact Holly or Kevin at the contact info above.

The Roadrunners MC 27th annual Bike Blessing was a great event, if a little wet. Thanks to the RRMC for providing space to ABATE for promotion. New members and renewals were taken in and we even signed up Representative Mark Honadel as a member. He was there to help promote motorcycle awareness month and the RRMC let him use stage time to do so, Thank you Mark. It is always good to work with the MC community to achieve our common goals.

Our summer long Mason Dixon Dice run has started and I have books available to purchase or sell for $10 each. The run ends on August 18th with a party at Witts End in Caledonia - Hwy G just east of Hwy 94. There are 10 stops in each of the following Counties -- Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, Kenosha and Walworth. Thanks to the participating establishments in Milwaukee County, you can also purchase books from them: Bottoms Up, Club Tap, Kokopelli's, Motor Bar at HD Museum, Sheehan's, Silver Spring House, Slick Willy's, Sobelman's, Spirits and Steve's on Bluemound.

Save the Date: Sobelman's is helping bikers once again this year by donating $1.00 to ABATE of Wisconsin for every burger sold on Sunday June 3rd from 11:00 -- 5:00. Join us for one of Milwaukee's best burgers, an easy way to help raise funds for ABATE. Last year David and Melanie Sobelman donated $450.00 to ABATE out of their sales for that day.

Our June meeting is on the 12th at Kokopelli's: 6001 W. Madison St in West Allis 7:30 PM

Our July meeting is on the 10th at Kokopelli's: 6001 W. Madison St in West Allis - 7:30 PM.
