Efforts to Reduce Motorcycle Fatalities Are Working
By John Reblin
In 2015 Wisconsin continued its trend of reduced motorcycle
fatalities, keeping below the 10-year average for the third straight
year while registered motorcycles have increased approximately 25
percent in that same period.
ABATE of Wisconsin's continued policy of education and awareness,
along with the working partnership it has developed with the Wisconsin
DOT have been an important factor in creating safer roads for all
motorcyclists in Wisconsin. ABATE of Wisconsin will continue to
develop new strategies with the goal of providing a safe, yet
enjoyable motorcycling environment in Wisconsin during 2016 and
