PayPal or Credit Card Membership Purchase/Renewal Form

Thank you for your interest in being a member or continuing member of ABATE of Wisconsin. Every membership counts and gives
ABATE of a larger voice in representing the rights of motorcyclists in Wisconsin at the state level. We thank you again for your
support and hope to see you at the Regional/State Meetings and many events held throughout the year.
In response to our members we have now added the ability for new or renewing members to use PayPal OR a credit card to
pay for their membership fees. You do NOT need a PayPal account to buy/renew your membership.
When checking out there is a "click here" button for people without a PayPal account that will take you to a credit card option
to checkout. The checkout is still handled securely through PayPal but does not require you to create an account.
PLEASE READ:
- If you are renewing, it will help a great deal when you checkout on the PayPal web site if you include your current membership number
in the comments field on the checkout.
- If you are requesting a couples membership, please include the second person's name in the comment field so that we may send you both
a membership card in your own names. The PayPal checkout mechanism does not allow us to collect two sets of names.
- There is a handling fee associated with purchasing the membership online. Please understand that membership dues go towards
defending your rights to ride, and that is based on what the organization needs to sustain itself. However, to be able to take payments
online, we are charged a fee by PayPal, and we are letting our members know up front about this by specifically calling it out on the
invoice. This way the membership fee itself is the same price for any member joining, but, if it is done online, we add a small fee to
help offset the cost of the charge assessed by PayPal. This allows us to maintain the level of revenue generated by our
membership fees without taking a loss on memberships that are processed online. We hope that, by stating this outright, it will help
members understand the fee associated with providing this online convenience.
