Hi members! October has rolled around and the 50th anniversary has been celebrated. It was a great time. Tommy Thompson was the guest speaker Sat nite. All the past Executive directors were there (with Carolyn standing in for Buck), who introduced themselves to everyone. Krissy Bowe was awarded the Patriot of the Year award. A more deserving person couldn’t have been chosen. That woman has worked her tail off continually for ABATE.

I’ve been elected to the state board again, and I appreciate your voting. I’m going to continue in the rep position until a replacement is found. I’m doing this because our region cannot be swallowed. I fear that if our region goes into hiatus until officers step up, it might be a long time, if ever, before it returns. This can’t happen!

I’m going to start working on setting up a run for our region next summer. I’ll have the winter to work on it. When the time comes, I will need some help getting some things taken care of. I’d like to make this a day-long ride with few stops. It’s still bouncing around in my head.
