Marlene Bautch Memorial Fund

Marlene Bautch "Auntie ABATE" was a pillar within ABATE for many years and when she passed, her husband, Dave "Twit" Linberg worked with us to establish the Marlene Bautch Memorial Fund. Marlene was often known as ABATE's historian so in her memory we are working to replace the "Brown Palace" with a 32 x 68 multipurpose building. The basement will provide additional storage for historical artifacts as well as make an excellent storm shelter. The main level will include a small kitchen, a large open space for the new board meeting room and properly display the many pieces of the History of ABATE.

Dan Frantz Fund

After Dan Frantz passed away, the Dan Frantz Fund was established to collect free will donations in order to pay off ABATE Acres. In 2016 the land was paid off. Since then, donations continue to be accepted into the fund to pay for future land improvements.

Safe Rider

The Safe Rider Program is an award-winning, WIDOT and Motorcycle Safety Foundation Certified and Approved Training Series. It is designed to lower the fatality rate on our roads by training riders in the proper and prudent use of motorcycles. It also aims to increase their traffic skills and thereby improve their survival rates on the street. Funds donated to ABATE of Wisconsin Safe Rider Inc. are tax deductible charitable contributions. They are used to help us keep the cost of training low and maintain our equipment.

Share The Road

Share The Road is ABATE of Wisconsin’s motorcycle awareness program that promotes driver awareness and increases understanding of how motorcyclists behave in traffic. We teach all drivers how to be more aware of other vehicles on the road – especially motorcycles. Funds donated to Share The Road help support our volunteers going into classrooms and the materials they need.

Highway Safety

ABATE of Wisconsin’s Highway Safety committee goal is to lower motorcycle crashes and fatalities in Wisconsin. We feel by promoting awareness, along with education and good decisions within the motorcycle community and other users of the road system we can achieve this goal. Highway Safety funds are used to create awareness billboards, posters, yard signs, and coasters.

Junior Patriots

Junior Patriots is a program we run to inspire the next generation of ABATE of Wisconsin members and biker enthusiasts. Funds donated to Junior Patriots are used toward the fun kid events we have at Family Camp Out Weekend in August each year. In 2024 each kid left with an ABATE backpack.

General Fund

Funds donated to the General Fund are used toward our annual budget and expenses.
