Time to Promote ABATE of Wisconsin

Last month I told you about our new incentive program “I Got Mine.” If you sign up 5 new members you get a T-Shirt saying I Got Mine/Did You? We still have the other recruitment incentive we have used in the past – submit 10 new memberships and earn a one-year free membership. For 1st & 2nd year members, if you collect four “attendance” cards your own membership will be extended for a year. We will also be recognizing membership recruitment at the Annual Meeting each October both on an individual basis and a Regional basis.

Don’t forget to fill out the “recruited by” section of the application form before sending them in for processing and be sure the form is filled out properly. Please don’t send cash in the mail. If a new member pays for their membership in cash, turn it in to your regional treasurer and they will send in the application form and a check to the state.

Speaking of membership forms, Krissy has just updated the brochure, and they will be available in May. Please use up the old forms before requesting any new ones.

Good weather is coming, so get out and talk to people. Support ABATE as well as other motorcycle events. We have materials that can help you prepare to talk to motorcyclists about what we are doing for the motorcycle world. Ask for our “elevator speech” to help guide you. Passion helps, but is important that you can present correct, factful information to those you come across.
