Cold & Wet, but that didn’t stop us. As Chubby states in his article it’s about Brotherhood. Many thanks to the tons of volunteers that help put this rally together for the rest of us to enjoy. It takes months of planning and days of prep work to pull it off and that we did. There were MANY new faces that were, like Madonna sings about, “Touched for the very first time”. Touched by the caliber of our facility and grounds, touched by the variety of the musical bands, touched by the quality of the vendors, touched by the bike games and the barstool races…(only in Wisconsin)…and touched by the mentoring that took place amongst ourselves. In other words, touched by our brotherhood. Some of our best ideas come out of those networking sessions taking place across the picnic tables and across the bar. A lot of opinions were given and a lot of listening was done over the weekend to come up with new ways to make us better at what we do. It isn’t all about the party. It’s all about the brotherhood.
Congratulations to the one lucky winner who took home the 100% payout from the new “Attendance Raffle”. Rumor has it that the pot was slightly more than $1,100…Wow! That alone should encourage you to start making plans for coming to the Hummer next year…and bring your rain gear—just in case.
