Region 1F: Waukesha County

Meetings: 1F’s Regional Meetings are on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 7 pm – Social hour at 6 pm. Meet at Foxx View Lanes, 2440 W. Sunset Dr., Waukesha WI 53189.

Hello everyone from 1F Waukesha.

The Pledge of Allegiance always starts out our meeting. We then pay our respects with a moment of silence for our Brothers and Sisters who are no longer with us. We also pay our respects for all those Men and Women who serve and protect 24/7/365!

Region 1F Report – BuellBob

This month was our election for Regional Representative. I was unopposed and will be 1F’s Regional Representative for another 2 years. I really appreciate the support from everyone, and I don’t take it lightly. I believe in ABATE and what we are fighting for. I’m looking forward to running 1F and doing what I can to make ABATE grow! We also had our last collection of items for our basket to be raffled off at the ABATE Banquet. We also discussed who is going to the 50th Anniversary Banquet and a time that we could meet and all ride together on Friday.

Treasury Report – Bob T. We are all good and up to date on everything. Appreciate your efforts and all you do for

Membership Report – Werner- Werner read off names that are on his list of members who are past due. He’s hoping that one of us knows them and can friendly remind them to send in their dues. Appreciate your efforts and keeping us updated in 1F, Werner.

Share the Road Report – Bob T. Bob reported that there’s no progress in getting into Drivers Training for any High Schools. He keeps trying and will continue to. Great job and we at 1F appreciate your efforts, Bob.

Products Report – Janet S. Janet had product to sell and talked about new products. Janet is doing a great job for 1F and we appreciate her efforts. Thank you, Janet.

Well, it’s November and you’re probably planning on what time Thanksgiving dinner will be and who’s all coming. Because the riding season is nonexistent, the only time you’re thinking of ABATE this time of year is when you’re reading this Newsletter. That doesn’t mean there’s nothing going on with ABATE. Many regions are having activities or are planning get togethers. Of course, Lobby Day 2025 will  be very important this year because of what happens on November 5th. It’s getting scary because if the election goes one way our fight will be a lot harder. We will need all the help we can muster up to get our points across. All of us want to ride free and enjoy the passion that all motorcycle enthusiasts have.
