It’s hard to believe S.T.E.A.M. is only 2 months away! We’ve been working hard for over a year to get everything organized. Unless something radical and out-of-our-hands happens, the show will go on! So, please, get registered ASAP! We are asking everyone to be registered by February 20th, as the rate goes up after that and we need to know how much food and drinks to prepare. You can register on our website or by copying the form in this newsletter and sending a check to Laurie Thompson. There are still a few scholarships available, so if you are willing to work but need your registration and room reimbursed, let me know.
Congratulations to Matt “Dr. Vern” Driscoll on submitting the winning entry for the t-shirt quote competition! There is a work schedule/volunteer sign-up sheet going around. If you are interested in volunteering, please email me at MRFRep@ABATEWis.org and I will send you the sheet. Also, there is a list going around of what supplies are still needed. I can email that to you as well. If you are able to get donations, like booze, beer, soda, water, cheese, sausage, lunch meat, buns, cups, etc., let me know and I will give you the specifics. We are also asking for raffle baskets and auction items from each region. Please let me or Krissy Bowe know what you have available so we know how much space we will need to set up.
With so many committee meetings taking place before the Board Meetings, we have decided to start doing our committee meetings via Zoom. The next two meetings are scheduled for February 1st and March 8th at 6:30 pm. If you want to participate, let me know so I can send you an email with the link to participate.
Please note, for reasons beyond my control, my MRFRep@ABATEWis.org email likes to end up in peoples’ Junk or Spam folders. So PLEASE check those folders for things I may have sent out.
