Update on the Pavilion Project
We should be hearing soon from Brickl Brothers regarding the delivery of some of the building materials for this project. If you remember, we wanted to purchase the materials sooner rather than later, so we could lock in a price and not be surprised by another price increase or delivery surcharges. We also hope that Brickl will have us scheduled to at least drill the holes for the posts before the snow flies, but if not, we are prepared to cover the area where the posts will be dug with bales of hay to keep the ground from freezing hard so when Brickl does come in the ground won’t be so hard to break.
Fundraising campaigns are still in full swing. Join in our efforts. We will pay for this pavilion solely with donations, so your generosity is really appreciated. ABATE still has a way to go, so please consider passing a hat, making individual donations, or buying a brick to get us to our goal and earn the entire amount needed for construction
The Brick Cornerstone Project campaign is ongoing. This campaign allows you to purchase an engraved brick to be included in a cornerstone wall that will be constructed on site once the pavilion is completed and will allow you to become part of a permanent structure at the land. More information and an order form are found on page 3 of this newsletter.
Please forward any questions about the project to the Land Development committee.
