Just back from the Summer Hummer. Despite the wet weather, I think everyone had a great time. It always amazes me how the members of ABATE work together and help each other. We signed up a few new members, renewed some memberships, and talked to a few members that came to the land for the first time. Everyone is always impressed with our land. I want to thank the volunteers that work many hours with no pay to take care of our land.
I have said this before, and I’ll say it again, when you attend an ABATE event everything you see was done by a volunteer. Be sure to thank them. It takes little effort on your part but means a lot to the volunteer to know their efforts aren’t going unnoticed.
Don’t forget our ABATE elections are in progress. Be sure to check the timeline in the newsletter to be sure you don’t miss any deadlines either for applying or for voting. Now is the time to step up if you want to see change.
Ride Safe, Ride Free, Ride with ABATE.
