Hi Everyone - January meeting is going to be on Saturday January 20th at American Pride in Stanley. Kathy will be opening up that day at 11am. We will be having a chili, soup and chowder cook off that day. Our meeting will start at 12 noon. Pool tourney at 1:00 and judging at 2:00.

Meetings: Third Sunday – See Text

ABATE of Wisconsin Region 4C November Meeting. Shannon CTO at 1 pm from Ripp’s in Riplinger. Dave Thums gave the Pledge and Moment of Silence for our downed brothers and sisters. Thanks to Ripp’s for hosting our meeting. Paul Schmidt read October minutes with no additions or corrections. 7B members joined us for our meeting along with Scott and Trish Leonard, from SOL Cycle in Stratford.

District Director, Tom Babbit reports from the state meeting. STEAM Conference is in April 2025. Officer training, Feb 7-9. Hummer is June 20-22nd. The date for the 2026 Summer Hummer was approved by the Board to be June 25– 28th.

LeeAnn Ruegg is stepping up to be Finance Committee Chair. Treasury report, checking within limits. With Rainy’s sold raffle tickets, more prizes are paid. Our regional Legislative Rep position is still open. Shannon urges all going to Officer Training Feb. 7-9 to get signed up. If you want a room by yourself, you pay half.

Karen Hurd was elected to 69th Assembly District, while Josh Kelly from Greenwood, on an Independent ticket, got 6% of the vote. Carolyn Kittredge and Shawn Klinker are the new Products Directors.

SOL Cycles. Scott talked about the seriousness of our Right to Repair Bill and how it will affect his business. The fuel issue was also discussed. Brad from 7B, spoke at the Chippewa County Snowmobile Council about it there. He said their group had no idea this was happening. He believes their group will pursue it. Rainy encouraged members to get more involved in other meetings. Julie Dallman talked with the owners of Apple Valley about a future cornhole, pool, and dart tournament. Also, we asked the Bowling Alley in Neillsville about having a brat feed during an Awareness rally on May 3. Both businesses agreed to make it happen. She said we need a bigger canopy. ABATE’S canopy whereabouts was discussed. A storm damaged it, and it is being repaired. Julie said her dad has a 10 X 20, as does Paul.

Julie talked of having our presence at Motorhead Mafia Car show in Neillsville, you bet! Posters have been printed for upcoming Pool, darts, and chili cookoff, held at Hacienda north of Owen – County DD and A.

Region 4C and 7B had a meeting at noon today about a new combined fun run. Another meeting will take place at 7B’s meeting at Dan and Michelle’s, 19990 Co. X, Lake Wissota, on Jan 5.
