Meetings: 1F’s Regional Meetings are on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 7 pm – Social hour at 6 pm. Meet at Foxx View Lanes, 2440 W. Sunset Dr., Waukesha WI 53189.

The Pledge of Allegiance always starts out our meeting. We then pay our respects with a moment of silence for our Brothers and Sisters who are no longer with us. We also pay our respects for all those Men and Women who serve and protect 24/7/365!

Region 1F Report – BuellBob

We held a recap of how the 50th Anniversary of ABATE weekend and banquet was a great experience. From the Hospitality Room to the ride to the Capital, it was well worth it.

Next on the Agenda was our annual collection for Christmas gifts and Moneys to brighten up a deserving child’s Christmas memory. Janet stepped up again to chair this worthy cause. Thanks, Janet, for doing this. We will be collecting money (or gifts) at our December meeting. Hopefully, we can make a difference in a worthy child’s life.

Speaking of our December meeting, we planned out our Christmas party for our December meeting. A dish to pass is required to make it a good time. It’s always a highlight of the year.

Treasury Report – Bob T.

Bob reported that we are up to date with the state report and are in the Black. Thank you, Bob T.

Membership Report – Werner.

Werner has been keeping up with contacting past due members. He’s also reading off names at our meeting to see if anyone knows them. It has helped. Thank you, Werner.

Share the Road – Bob T.

Unfortunately, there’s no movement on getting into any schools at this time. Hopefully down the road it will improve. Thanks, Bob T.

Products Report – Janet

It’s a great time of year to get a Christmas gift for that someone special. An ABATE shirt would be a great gift.

If you haven’t noticed, it’s December. But I bet you have and are gearing up for gathering with family and friends. The radio stations are playing Christmas music nonstop, and you’re eating all kinds of goodies like there’s no tomorrow. This time of year, everyone is a little nicer and almost always in good spirits. Like the song says, I wish the Christmas spirit would last all year long. From my family to yours, a very Merry and Blessed Christmas . Hope your Christmas is everything you wish it would be.
