I can’t believe we are into August already. I need to get out and ride more often. It has been a busy year for Safe Rider. Our classes all filled up until the last two in September, and they are filling fast. We have trained many new riders and gotten more unlicensed riders endorsed through the BRC2 License Waiver classes. Thanks to all our Coaches and all of you, who help spread the word. We have gotten our new brochures into the area DMV offices. They were glad to have them because they get a lot of questions about rider training.
With the success of classes this year we will probably be looking at replacing another older bike with a new model. By keeping the fleet updated we can give students an idea of what is available in the marketplace, and we can cut maintenance costs by having newer equipment. Stay tuned in the Spring if we have something for sale again.
Once again, I can’t stress enough that you should Ride Your Own Ride. Be careful of who you ride with or around, especially if you are going to Sturgis or attending group rides. Keep your bike well maintained and ready for any ride that may pop up. Which reminds me, I need to order a new back tire. As we enter the best months of riding in Wisconsin, be careful out there and get as much riding in as you can.
Ride Safe,
Gary
