Dear Cuz;
Never been to the Summer Hummer. What’s all the buzz? Tell me what’s a happening. Should I leave Grandma at home?
Newbie
Well bless your little heart, Newbie, are you in for an experience! The Summer Hummer is held at ABATE Acres, 80 pristine acres of wilderness with little to few neighbors. Because of this location the music is Loud and there is plenty of ground to kick your heels up dancin’. The grounds are groomed for tent camping or if your age is something to contend with – campers. Although there are no electrical or water sites on hand, there is potable water near the shower building if you need to fill a bucket or two. Speaking of the shower building, it is a modern facility with 6 private shower stalls and flush toilets….so grandma could come along, if you want her to see the crazy antics that go on there….or maybe she’d take part. Besides music, there are plenty of vendors on site to buy that little trinket you’ve been needing so much and plenty of food vendors to fill your belly up after a day of bike games, cornhole tournaments, bike show, loud pipes contest, pin up girl photo op, the “Taste” a beer, wine, cheese and sausage tasting (there is a separate entry fee for this), barstool racing, bike blessing, beer bobbing, 50/50 raffles, tattoo contest, Lady’s Ride (all are welcomed), and more. Beside all that you can take a peek at the new Pavilion that our members had built complete with stage. Can grandma handle it? Can You? I can. See you there.
Your ever loving “Cuz”
