We are starting to finalize our advertising campaign for the Hummer. Radio ads are coming together as well as billboards and newspaper ads. Most importantly, is membership talking up the Hummer and bringing their friends, family, and neighbors for one heck of a good time! See your regional representative for posters to plaster all over your town’s favorite establishments, gas stations, restaurant information boards – wherever you are able to hang one, do it! Word of mouth is the best form of advertising we can achieve.
Remember the free Summer Hummer ticket program from last year? It’s BAAACK! Each region has been given two complimentary Summer Hummer tickets to present to someone who has never attended our Summer Hummer Rally before. Be sure to take advantage of this program and get those tickets to someone you think will benefit from the fun to be had over the weekend.
Remember the Pavilion Bucket Program from last year? It’s BAAACK! – but only while they last. We have a few buckets left to be sold and they will be available at the bar chip table during the event. Buy a bucket and get 6 beers for the price of 5 all weekend long. But I already have a bucket, you say? That’s great – be sure to bring it along because you can still use it for this Hummer only. This will be the final year that this promotion will take place. 6 for 5? Can’t go wrong with that! Proceeds from 2024 bucket sales will go to the Summer Hummer fundraiser because we ALREADY paid for the Pavilion!
Music news: Gregg Hall aka “Cheech” will be on center stage during the Tast of Summer at the Hummer once again. Always look forward to his acoustical guitar tunes.
All the usual final stages of progress are taking place from ordering golf carts and porta-potties to securing vendors.
Don’t forget to tell you buddies about the Bring Your Own Everything Biker swap meet. Held on Saturday only. Entry fee is the $30 cost of a day pass which entitles each vendor to access the grounds for the entire day, even camping overnight should they care to do so. Can’t go wrong here either.
