We had another spectacular “Season” at our land. ABATE Acres experienced many activities throughout the riding season, whether it was the Hummer, District – Regional or Board meetings, the Family Campout event or individual camping by our members. I think everyone enjoyed their time here. If you haven’t seen it yet, it is really shaping up and is something every member should be proud of. At this time, I would like to thank the numerous volunteers that helped the land committee out by sharing some of their “down time” to keep the place in such good shape. They mowed, planted, weeded and did anything that needed doing without even being asked. You know who you are, and you are very much appreciated. That being said, our Land Closing Weekend will be held on October 18 – 20. After Land Closing, when we button up for the winter, the water will be turned off in our shower building and the land will be officially closed for the 2019 season. Hope the winter is easy on all of us and I expect to see y’all next year.
