What a great session of Officer’s Training in February. For those of you who came, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. Something about that weekend every year that brings a fresh sense of motivation. I was able to get a bunch of our new marketing supplies distributed to the Regions. Please remember that if you are having an event or going to be at an event which you didn’t get supplies for, reach out and we can work to get you more. This can be done simply by emailing your event information to events@abatewis.org and including that you need supplies. The sooner the notice the better because we can move items via District Directors and others at the Board Meetings. I don’t want to waste our hard fundraised money on shipping if we don’t have to.
I’m super excited about the new 50th Banners Paul Vita was able to print for us. Thanks Paul, they turned out great! I also fell in love with the new tent walls that arrived the week after OT. There are still some other items on their way. We have 5 tents available for use around the state. If you have an event or several events that you would like to use them for, please reach out to Marie at the State Office and she’ll get it reserved for you and work out the logistics. We should always have a tent set up when we are at someone else’s event and spreading ABATE’s message.
Thank you to those Regions who added me as Admin to your Facebook pages. It makes life easier when we need to get a message out. You guys have been doing a great job of getting your events on your pages and I have been sharing them as I am aware of them on the state page too. If you are reading this and haven’t already liked/followed the ABATE of Wisconsin page on Facebook, I encourage you to. This is a great way to see all the different events going on statewide. Please remember to “share” as well. There have been lots of chili cook-offs, meat raffles, and other events going on. I’m sure many more are coming up in the future weeks and months ahead. We all look forward to riding the bike to them again.
