Marketing Report

One would think that this time of year is slow since it’s not riding season… Not the case. State Officers are busy planning Officer Training and Lobby Day. On the Marketing side, that means I’m ordering supplies for everyone to be able use to help us market ABATE and hopefully gain new members. You may have read or heard Bill’s goal for Membership is that each member should get a new member. In order for me to best help/supply your Regions, I need to know what events you plan on hosting or being part of in 2025. Please make sure to get your list of events back to me in advance. This way I can have supplies ready for your Regional Rep to pick up.

One of the biggest requests that I have received over the last few years has been yard signs. Dave/Highway Safety has always ordered a number for each Region. Some Regions have given them away, some have given them away to new members, and some have charged $5 or $10 each. For that supply we are really encouraging Regions to use them as a tool to get new members or to ask for a donation to help cover costs. This year we are also ordering an additional supply that can be purchased for $10 each. Regions may not use Regional funds to pay for them but they must be paid for in order to get extra. We’ll monitor and see how it goes this year to see if we want to keep doing the extra supplies.
