It’s time again for Officer’s Training. Many things are on the agenda from who to talk to if you have a question or a problem to setting up appointments for Lobby Day.

One of the things I will be talking about are the incentives for you to bring in new members, clarification of the incentive programs we use and also how to keep those new members interested in our organization once they join. I will also talk about new ideas for membership in the future. As I’m sure you know, we need more members and we need younger members.

There will be a banquet on Saturday evening. Following the banquet will be a live auction that helps offset the cost of this weekend. Sunday will include committee meetings followed up by the Board of Directors meeting. All of these meetings are important for us to attend. We learn by sharing ideas and seeing what works and what doesn’t. I’ve been going to Officer’s Training for a few years now and I always, always come home with new ideas.
