MRF Rep Report

I couldn’t be prouder of the 50 or so members that stepped up and volunteered for S.T.E.A.M. The conference was a huge success and even though attendance may have been down a little (thanks to covid), our financials look better than ever! Extra thanks go out to the committee chairs who worked tirelessly and behind the scenes to make this event look flawless: Laurie Thompson, Krissy Bowe, Dr. Vern & Cheryl Driscoll, PeeWee, Dawn Stoddard, Mikey Mueller, Cathy Dial, and Stash. Thank you to Sweets, Joel and Laurie Fabian for always being right there when I needed something.

Special recognition goes out to John Reblin, Hardtail, Steve Panten, Chubby, and Seven for being ABATE of WI presenters during the event. One of the most consistent feedbacks we received was that the presenters and topics were awesome!

Other positive feedback from the After-Action Reports included that the layout of everything was easy to navigate, the sessions stayed on time, and the registration process went really smoothly.

Also, a huge thank you to all the sponsors that helped fund this event and assisted us in raising money for the Motorcycle Riders Foundation, particularly Hupy and Abraham, WeatherPro Exteriors, Husch Blackwell, Michael Hupy, Safe Rider, Gruber, Milwaukee and West Bend Harleys, House of Harley, Carbliss, Revolution Performance, Suburban Motors, Kwik Trip, and Denmark State Bank. Thank you to all the individuals and regions who donated raffle baskets and auction items. The live auction alone brought in over $6,800!

Lastly, thank you to everyone that attended the sessions, played the games, and contributed financially to the raffle and auction items! I hope you enjoy your winnings and I hope you learned a lot and will be able to share your knowledge to make us all better freedom fighters.
The goal of S.T.E.A.M. is two-fold. To raise money for the MRF, so they can continue to fight for our rights at the federal level, and for us to gain knowledge and become motivated to continue our fight at the local and state level. I know I came away with a chest full of tools and am excited to use them. I hope you are too!

And as always, stay vigilant, my friends!
