Welcome John “Blaze” Erlandson to our team of MRF Assistant State Reps! Blaze lives in Madison and is a member of the C.C. Riders. Now that he is semi-retired, he has the time to help us promote the Motorcycle Riders Foundation. Blaze was on the Board of Directors with ABATE of WI “back in the day” and is looking forward to becoming more active again. If you see him at the state meeting, be sure to say Hi and welcome him to the team!
We are still seeking several Assistant State Reps in the Northwoods and Western parts of the state. You can reach out to me via text, phone, or email if you are interested in taking your membership to the next level. My contact info is on the back page of this newsletter.
If you are a member of the Motorcycle Riders Foundation (MRF) already, I hope you are reading your American Bikers Journal (ABJ). You will notice ABATE of WI is very well represented in it. The September/October edition includes an excellent article from Seven. Seven is one of several members of ABATE of WI who are on the Board of Directors for the MRF. He is an Assistant to the Board for the MC Reps Program. The MRF President is none other than our very own Deputy Director, Kirk “Hardtail” Willard. Rounding out our current representation is Dave Dwyer, who is one of two SSMRO Board Representatives. Stay tuned for next month’s article on some exciting announcements from Meeting of the Minds!
Also, watch the November newsletter and our Facebook page to see how much hardware ABATE of WI brings home from the awards banquet at Meeting of the Minds. We truly are one of the best SMROs in the country!
And if you remember seeing a picture of an MRF tattoo in this newsletter last month, check out page 26 of the American Biker Journal! Dave Jones, you are now famous, and I want your autograph!
Lastly, if you aren’t already a member of the MRF, you should be! Preserving our freedoms is not just done at a state level, but at a national level as well. There’s an MRF membership application in this newsletter. Sign up to become a member today!
As always, stay vigilant, my friends!
