The M.E.A.T. is gearing up for a GREAT year!

Hey all, as we are in the grips of mother nature’s cold winter hands, I am making plans and looking forward to an awesome 2019! I feel excited for the upcoming year. Each year brings on many new challenges as well as new accomplishments. I feel ABATE of WI will have a great turning point this year. I always try to be positive but not set “the bar” too high. I have met a lot of people in ABATE, both newer members and members that have been around for years. They ALL have been telling me their ideas on what they feel ABATE of WI should do in the future. I always respond the same “Please get involved”. There is always room for fresh new ideas! Blending our past with the new will keep our organization strong! We need to support each other to succeed. Whether it is going to regional meetings (inside or outside your region) or attending regional events, gathering in large numbers shows solidarity! Strength in numbers, wearing your ABATE attire everywhere you go and passing on what ABATE of WI today is all about are ways to promote & market ABATE of WI.! I look forward to seeing everyone at Biker’s lobby day in Madison on Feb 28, 2109. Let us show our state leaders that ABATE of WI is strong and fighting for the freedom of bikers!

I am working on some events and also plan on attending more events this year. I am personally going to get ABATE of WI members talking about & engaged in our organization. Good or bad, we need to hear from all our members! We are a motorcycle rights organization first, but we need to socialize to keep our organization together “between battles”.
