Is almost done. All that needs for completion is hang the gutters, touch up a few minor quirks, and landscape around the poles a bit, which should be done in the early spring. We are still short on the funding so keep those money-making projects going. It would be great if we could let everyone know at the Hummer that we met the goal of paying for the building with 100% donations.
The brick promotion is going well with 68 bricks being sold at last count. Once we know how many bricks we have sold, the design team can go to work and figure out the best configuration for the wall and engraved brick placements on that wall. We will not announce a cut-off date for that until we are closer to our goal of total payoff of the project. The designers are hoping that our Past Executive Directors will get on board, buy a brick, and by doing so become the “Foundation” of the wall just as they are the “Foundation” of our organization.
The Pavilion fund as of 2/24/23 is short by $32,684 of its $141,000 total, so we do have a bit of work to do. Knowing our members, this goal is well within our reach. As I’ve said before it takes a “Village” and the generosity of our members….to build a Pavilion. Save your change to drop off at the Hummer. It’s a simple thing to do and it is amazing how fast pennies grow into dollars.
Thank you for all of your efforts and hard work to make this project come to fruition. ABATE could not do it without all of you.
Please forward any questions about the project to the Land Development committee.
