Share The Road
Share The Road is ABATE of Wisconsin’s motorcycle awareness program that promotes driver awareness and increases understanding of how motorcyclists behave in traffic. We teach all drivers how to be more aware of other vehicles on the road – especially motorcycles.
ABATE of Wisconsin provides certified, trained volunteer instructors to present this program. This comprehensive training program cover 14 key topics. Some of the topics are: Seeing vs. Perception; Visibility; Lane Positioning; Following Distance; and Passing.
Education and Training are the best ways to prevent and thereby reduce motorcycle / vehicle crashes. Crash prevention is the key to reducing injuries and fatalities on our nation's highways.
Training Programs, Classes and Safety Presentations are provided for no charge to qualified schools, organizations, and companies.
