You may have noticed that I mentioned Officer’s Training in a few articles… so I hope that gave you enough time to make your reservation and plan to leave work early to arrive in time for the Friday night session. The agenda is set with some new topics and one that I would like to emphasize is in regards to event planning and raffles so bring your thinking caps as we will all need to think outside the box for this!! I can’t stress enough how important this training is not only for region treasurers but ALL the officers within ABATE. It is informative and a great place to network; I even heard a rumor that some fun will be had…

We will be selling tickets for the Sweetheart Raffle up until 11:30 on February 11 … 1^st place is $1,000, 2^nd place is $500 and 3^rd place is $250. Tickets are 2/$5. The winners will be drawn at/around noon on February 11 at the Hotel Mead in Wisconsin Rapids. You need not be present to win! If you have tickets that you signed out to sell, please return them at Officer’s Training. If you are unable to attend and no one from your region is attending, the tickets should be returned to your District Director by February 5, 2018.
